The Rooted 75 journey

Small, intentional habits that lead to a rooted life.

The ten daily habits are not ten separate goals competing for your attention. Together they form a rhythm of worship, stewardship, discipline, growth, and encouragement.

The ten daily habits

Build a rhythm you can return to.

Do not turn these habits into a weapon against yourself. Use them as daily invitations to return your attention, decisions, and relationships to God.

Daily SOAP Bible Study

Purpose: Root your thinking in Scripture. Read a passage, observe what it says, apply it honestly, and respond in prayer.

Intentional Prayer

Purpose: Develop ongoing conversation with God through praise, thanksgiving, confession, surrender, petition, intercession, and listening.

Daily Movement

Purpose: Care for your body through appropriate, purposeful movement—not punishment, comparison, or appearance-based pressure.

Time Outside

Purpose: Step away from noise, breathe deeply, receive daylight, and pay attention to God’s creation.

Hydration

Purpose: Practice ordinary stewardship by consistently giving your body the water it needs.

Nourishing Our Bodies

Purpose: Choose foods that support your well-being while rejecting shame, obsession, and one-size-fits-all rules.

Personal & Spiritual Growth

Purpose: Learn deliberately through reading, reflection, wise teaching, skill-building, and obedience.

Speaking Life—No Gossip

Purpose: Refuse speech that tears people down. Choose truth, discretion, humility, encouragement, and reconciliation.

A Personal 75-Day Fast

Purpose: Voluntarily surrender something that distracts, controls, or consumes you, and redirect that attention toward God. A fast does not need to involve food.

Encourage Someone

Purpose: Make encouragement an action. Pray, call, message, serve, listen, celebrate, or remind someone of truth.

The 75-day rhythm

Use milestones to reflect—not to perform.

1

Day 1

Begin with clarity, prayer, and a realistic plan.

25

First reflection

Notice patterns, celebrate consistency, and remove unnecessary friction.

50

Realign

Return to the purpose behind the habits and resist autopilot.

75

Continue

Reflect on what took root and decide what faithful growth looks like next.

A daily practice

Anchor the habits to your existing life.

The strongest plan is not the most ambitious. It is the one you can actually repeat.

  • Attach Bible study and prayer to an established morning or evening routine.
  • Prepare water, walking shoes, study materials, and trackers before you need them.
  • Choose a minimum version of each habit for unusually difficult days.
  • Use the weekly reflection to solve problems instead of judging yourself.
  • Ask someone in the community to pray with you when consistency becomes difficult.
The grace principle

Missing a day is information—not an identity.

Failure language creates shame and often turns one disrupted day into abandonment. Rooted 75 uses a different response:

  1. Pause. Identify what happened without exaggeration or excuses.
  2. Learn. Decide whether the plan, environment, expectation, or priority needs adjustment.
  3. Return. Take the next faithful action available to you.
Health and wellness note

Wisdom matters more than uniformity.

Movement, hydration, nutrition, outdoor activity, and fasting affect people differently. Adapt these habits to your medical needs, pregnancy status, medications, disabilities, history with disordered eating, climate, occupation, and guidance from qualified professionals. Rooted 75 is a faith and habit-building community, not individualized medical care.
